Aims and scope
Šolsko polje (English: “School Field”) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal covering theory and research in education. It is published by the Slovenian Association of School Field Researchers and the Educational Research Institute and was founded in 1989. It has an international editorial board and is published three times a year.
Šolsko polje publishes original scientific research articles, expert articles, scientific review articles and reviews of national and international monographs on all aspects of education and educational research (philosophy of education, sociology of education, applied epistemology, developmental psychology, educational psychology, pedagogy, andragogy, pedagogical methodology, etc.).
The main aim of the journal is to promote the development of the educational sciences and to foster an interdisciplinary approach to the theoretical and practical issues involved. It is particularly interested in the development of Slovenian scientific and professional terminology and concepts in the field of education, as well as in new paradigms for educational research in the social sciences and humanities.
Šolsko polje is published by the Associaton of School Field Researchers and the Educational Research Institute.
The journal is archived by the National and University Library of Slovenia.

There is no publication fee.
